Our world is travel. Our members include travel advisors and the companies whose products they sell, from cruises and safaris to hotels and car rentals. Since our founding in 1931, ASTA has worked to fulfill its mission of facilitating the business of selling travel by setting high ethical standards and providing effective representation and avenues for shared knowledge and enhanced professionalism.
ASTA members represent 80 percent of all travel sold in the United States through the travel agency distribution channel and we have hundreds of internationally-based members. Our 10,000-plus domestic travel agency and travel supplier companies employ more than 100,000 people. Plus, our 250 international member companies span over 123 countries.
